The MV Discovery is a 30ft Shark Cat and is owner operated. The Discovery Team has over 12 years experience fishing on Gold Coast Waters.

Deep Sea fishing is also available for morning or afternoon trips, fishing the close reefs out from the Seaway where you can chase some bottom dwelling species like Snapper, Pearl Perch, Marlin, Dolphin Fish, Amberjacks, Cobia and many more. Discovery Fishing MV Discovery offers comfortable seating with an onboard toilet for your comfort. The MV Discovery offers a shady experience to reduce the chances of sunburn. Gold Coast Discovery Fishing supplies all of your tackle and equipment for your deep sea fishing experience!

Custom Charters

Discovery Fishing offers Custom Charters for Corporate or Social Events such like Bucks Parties, Christmas Parties & Birthday Parties carrying up to 12 keen fishermen.For the 9 hour fishing trip we provide everything that the 5 hour trip includes plus lunch, keeps your hunger at bay. Our staff will prepare your fish to take home on ice  

Company policy - 50% Deposit is required to secure your seat. Deposits can be made with a credit card, when you supply these details you are agreeing to - Our cancellation policy is that no payment is required by you if you cancel 14 or more days prior to your fishing boarding time. On cancelling within 14 days of your boarding times we will need to replace your booking but if unsuccessful we will debit your Visa or MasterCard. There is a 2% fee with credit card payments also. The 2% fee is non-refundable in ANY circumstance.
