On this whale watching tour, you'll join one of the state's most experienced and knowledgeable whale watching companies for a cruise past the houses of the rich and famous that also includes morning or afternoon tea before coming up close with the whales themselves. “ A perfect whale watching tour!! We had three whales flirting with our boat for 30 mins! It was just spectacular! The crew was amazing! We departed from surfers and through the canals was great too. Lots of funny and cool information about the houses etc. The crew was super knowledgable and helpful! Was one of the best experiences!
Great day out unfortunately the trip from Surfers Paradise was cancelled but I was contacted the day before and transferred to the Sea World cruise and caught an UBER which will be credited to me
2 weeks agoGreat cruise with the Sea World boat. Happy with the sightings particularly seeing a mother and newborn calf which was a bonus. We also saw a few breaches from a juvenile show off. The crew were very caring and made sure that everyone was having a good experience.

1 month agoThis was a lot of fun!! š We went with our kids, 12, 8 and 5yrsā¦ there are rooms that are very dark but I just held on to my youngest and she was ok. A couple of the rooms had us searching for ages for the door! š¤Ŗ It was a great family activity, loved it! šš¼ But definitely consider if any younger children will be too afraid of pitch black rooms with very little lighting! Highly recommend for those that wont be bothered by that! šš¼ Booking through Experience Oz was simple and offered a discount. I showed the QR code and got the entry ticket with ease. They also securely store your bag whilst you go in. You canāt take any photos inside the maze.

1 month agoWe booked through Experience Oz for a whale watching tour departing Surfers Paradise. I rang a couple of days earlier to confirm and was advised we would likely be moved to a tour departing from Sea World due to lower numbers (30June). That was fine, but it was good to know in advance so I could arrange our transport there. The cruise itself was great. The staff were excellent and the commentary was really informative and easily understood. Highly recommend taking motion sickness tablets although it didnāt stop me once my 5yo started!! The whales came up very close to the boatā¦ really majestic creatures! The tour is just the right length for those of us who donāt have great sea legs!
We saw so many whales and it was a very fantastic experience!
1 year agoI highly recommend whale watching from this site. The staff are so nice and accommodating the tour was splendid and we saw heaps of whales. Worth your money, will book again here and highly recommend booking here. Thank you experience oz for making our stay memorable!

2 years agoAll perfect, I really enjoyed the experience with my friends, the crew was excellent, the customer service was incredible because in the end 2 friends couldn't come with us to the trip and we asked for a refund without any problem, we could see the whales, it was really awesome, 100% recommended.
Great for kids
2 years agoGreat for kids, a whole family day out. Comfy boat, with plenty of viewing space. Fun and informative commentary, with generous time to spot and view whales. Staff were excellent, friendly and polite. Amazing experience would absolutely go on again.

2 years agoIt was such an amazing experience. Getting up close to such magical giant creatures. We donāt really realise that they love so close to us. I also learnt the only food whales eat is krill and we shouldnāt buy products containing krill (some vitamins) because we are only going to make them stave.

3 years agoMy little one was so excited about to see whales we are very lucky to see a lot of whales. Some are quite close. The only thing be careful of seasickness when a big wave in open sea area. Crews offer the tablets before boat seal to open sea as it takes 20mins to take effect. If you think you will be sick better take and not too confident of yourself as we saw many people regretted they didnāt take it. It is a very good experience.
These guys are the real deal
3 years agoThese guys are the real deal. The friendly crew on board, knowledgable and make sure you don't miss out on anything. Very close encounters with the whales and will certainly be going again in the future. Well worth the price of the experience and is a must-do whilst on the Gold Coast.
“The open ocean can be quite choppy, so if you suffer from sea sickness make sure you head to the pharmacy before boarding to purchase some sea sickness tablets or pressure bands.”
