“ Simply awesome! An up close experience for adults & kids - we held birds, a koala and crocodile (extra cost but worth it) and patted and fed so many friendly kangaroo’s the kids were in heaven. Brekky was a great addition, it was an all round great way to spend the morning.

Very nice habitat and cool animals. The birds and wallabies are free which means you can get close to them. Unfortunately, part was being renovated when we visited due to cyclone damage but we still saw everything. Visit if you have some free time in Port Douglas or driving down to Cairns.
My partner and I decided to visit the wildlife centre on our way home from Port Douglas. It was cute watching all the animals and how they would interact with people but just maintenance I think brung down the experience for us. Sometimes it can’t be helped but it just didn’t look inviting. I think it might be time for some restructuring on the wooden plate forms as they are just deteriorated. But overall we did enjoy our experience, it’s just time for some cleaning up.
Great range of animals and Kisangani loves it. The staff guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you have young kids. Does not take long to tour 2 hours at most. Koala talk is the main attraction. There are birds in the cafeteria which you take pics with. The highlights for me were the koala photo and the crocodile feeding. It's a small place good for short visits, especially with children.
Nice compact wildlife park. Has different sections depending on the type of environment. Easy to walk through with a decent variety of animals. Friendly kangaroos and wallabies allowed themselves to be petted and hand fed. Helpful and friendly staff.
I wish we lived closer, we did this on our last day before heading back to Melbourne. It was amazing, beautiful and the guide was so very informative, birds and wildlife were amazing and the lunch was nice too!
“The Breakfast with the Birds option is great value. You receive a full selection of hot foods, tropical fruit buffet, juices, freshly baked breads and more. You also receive free guided tours of the wetland environments.”
